Tim Holland
Hi! I’m Tim and I am currently the one man team behind Heart of the Market. From taking calls, providing quotes, milling logs, and designing your dream pieces, I do it all. I love to create new and interesting pieces, and put 100 percent of my effort into each job. Designing new pieces is truly my favourite part of the process and bringing that design to life is wonderful for me to see.
While technically my business is a one man team with myself being the only employee, it would be unfair to say that I do it all on my own.
My wife, two daughters and family have been huge supporters. For my wife and daughters this comes in many forms, from bouncing ideas off of, putting up with my crazy schedule or even helping me move heavy items. For the rest of the family, this often comes in the form of testing new prototypes, helping me move and upgrade my shops, helping me with installs and providing me with temporary shops during the cold months and in between moves.
While building furniture is what I love to do, if you can’t find me in the shop, your next best bet is to look outside. From mushroom picking to fishing to searching for the perfect log on the family property, nature is where I love to be. As dad to two little girl,s hopefully these adventures will start to have a little little people trailing behind me.
